PosiClamp was born from the need for better tools — ones designed specifically for rope access technicians working in the demanding environments of renewable energy and industrial infrastructure.
Developed in-house at Highline Rope Access, PosiClamp represents a growing range of engineered solutions designed to improve safety, stability, and efficiency across all rope access operations. From blade repair clamps to work positioning systems and deviation point protection, each tool has been built to solve real challenges faced by our technicians in the field.
The innovation behind PosiClamp is led by Roland Suto, a European-trained electrical engineer who specialised in renewables before moving to New Zealand and co-founding Highline. Combining his engineering expertise with frontline experience on wind turbines and industrial structures, Roland has driven the design of tools that reduce reliance on expensive EWP hire, speed up deployment, and improve working comfort and control — all while maintaining strict safety standards.
The current PosiClamp product line includes:
The Tip Clamp – A secure and fast-deploying solution for blade tip repairs, eliminating the need for elevated work platforms.
The Leading Edge Work Seat – Designed for precision and comfort during leading edge repairs, offering stable work positioning for complex applications.
The Trailing Edge Protector – A simple, effective device that protects fragile serrations and trailing edges while providing a clean deviation point for rope systems.
Every product in the PosiClamp range is:
Designed by technicians, for technicians
Engineered and tested in real-world conditions
Manufactured for performance, modularity, and long-term durability
As a company, we’re committed to building the tools we wish we’d always had — and sharing them with others who face the same challenges. Whether you're in wind, infrastructure, or industrial maintenance, PosiClamp is designed to make your job easier, safer, and more efficient.
